Exterior: Two New Colors and Upgraded ADB Matrix Headlights
Regarding the exterior, the 2026 Li Auto i6 introduces Hyacinth Purple and Magnetic Blue. Therefore, buyers now have six total color options. These options include three standard metallic paints and three special cold-light paints. Meanwhile, the front fascia aligns with the Li L9 and Li i9 design language. Additionally, the new ADB Matrix headlights support cornering illumination assist. They also feature adaptive high/low beams and smart masking. As a result, the manufacturer claims the illumination range extends by approximately 30%.
Moreover, Li Auto upgraded the front trunk to a fully electric setup. The trunk now features power opening, closing, and cinching. Users can access it via a physical knock, voice commands, or the mobile app. Inside, it includes internal lighting and a drainage outlet. Furthermore, Li Auto will release a paid power trunk upgrade for 2025 i6 owners in December. The side profile features semi-hidden door handles that comply with new national standards. Buyers can also choose between 20-inch and 21-inch wheels. Dimensionally, the new vehicle measures 4,950 mm long and 1,935 mm wide. It stands 1,655 mm tall with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. The overall length, width, and wheelbase remain unchanged from the 2025 model. However, designers lowered the roofline by 15 mm.

Interior: 29-Inch 6K Panoramic Screen and Snapdragon 8797 Chip

Inside, the cabin sees a striking transformation that aligns with the brand’s latest models. A single 29-inch 6K panoramic screen replaces the previous dual 15.7-inch displays. Furthermore, the infotainment chip leaps from the Snapdragon 8295P to the advanced Snapdragon 8797. Rear passengers now enjoy a 21-inch 4K entertainment screen. An all-new exclusive rear-cabin functional interaction screen complements this display. Also, the infotainment system natively supports CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink. This integration allows native vehicle apps to run seamlessly alongside CarPlay. Finally, Li Auto removed the small display previously mounted above the steering wheel.
The new model also features native Insta360 camera integration. A dedicated port sits beneath the rearview mirror. Consequently, users can view real-time footage directly on the central screen after connecting a camera. Additionally, the vehicle includes two physical plush toys. Placing these toys on the NFC panel triggers interactive animations on the central display.
Comfort & Tech: Front Dual Zero-Gravity Seats and Standard Mach M100 Chip
Li Auto elevated seating comfort by adding dual zero-gravity seats to the front row. These seats offer 16-way power adjustment and a 150-degree maximum recline angle. They also provide an 18-point kneading massage and a 4-way power leg rest. Meanwhile, the right side of the second row retains the “Queen Seat.” This seat features a 140-degree maximum recline and a power footrest. Therefore, the manufacturer claims maximum legroom reaches 1,150 mm.
Furthermore, the interior continues to offer a hot and cold refrigerator. This unit can cool down to -6°C. The door panel liners also remain removable and washable. Other premium comfort features include a five-zone climate control system and second-row vanity mirrors. Lastly, passengers get side window sunshades and a rear center armrest with a 67W Type-C port.
Regarding advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), the new i6 includes Li Auto’s proprietary Mach M100 chip. This processor delivers 1280 TOPS of computing power. The chip pairs with the Mach VLA autonomous driving model and a roof-mounted LiDAR. Together, they support all-scenario navigation on autopilot (NOA). Alternatively, customers can choose the Dual Mach M100 chip package. This option doubles the computing power to 2560 TOPS. It also adds three solid-state blind-spot LiDARs to achieve comprehensive 360-degree coverage.
Powertrain: RWD 780 km, AWD 710 km, and 500 km Range in 10 Minutes
The 2026 Li Auto i6 continues to offer two powertrain configurations. Buyers can select a single-motor Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) or a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The RWD version features a 250 kW motor. As a result, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Conversely, the AWD variant costs an extra 20,000 RMB. It pairs a 150 kW front motor with a 250 kW rear motor. This setup yields a combined output of 400 kW and 660 N·m of torque. Consequently, the car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The chassis utilizes a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension. These systems include all-aluminum control arms. Furthermore, a dual-chamber “Magic Carpet” air suspension comes standard to offer four adjustable ride heights.
Battery and range improvements remain central to this facelift. The vehicle features Li Auto’s new 96 kWh Lianshan 5C supercharging LFP battery. Engineers built this pack on an 800V high-voltage platform. This setup provides an 8.7 kWh increase over the previous 87.3 kWh pack. Officially, the CLTC range hits 780 km for the RWD and 710 km for the AWD. Therefore, these models gain 60 km and 50 km over the outgoing versions, respectively. Impressively, a mere 10-minute charge replenishes approximately 500 km of range.
On October 22, Li Auto live-streamed an official range test around Lake Taihu. The i6 carried four adults and 50 kg of equipment. The team also set the air conditioning to 24°C. Ultimately, the vehicle drove 811.4 km before the battery depleted. It recorded an impressive average energy consumption of 11.8 kWh/100 km. Consequently, the range achievement rate reached 104%.
