BYD Refutes Rumors

Official Refutation and Legal Action

On November 4, BYD’s Anti-Rumor Office issued a statement declaring that online rumors claiming “the BYD Eye of the Gods C is being discontinued” and “the Eye of the Gods B and C will change their intelligent driving solutions” are entirely false. BYD has already secured evidence regarding these fabricated claims and will pursue legal action against the responsible parties in accordance with the law.

Launch History and Market Integration

BYD officially unveiled the “Eye of the Gods C” (DiPilot 100) on February 10, 2025. The company introduced it at their Intelligentization Strategy Conference. Mass production began shortly after on March 5. It first debuted on the second-generation Yuan PLUS Smart Driving Edition. The initial rollout featured 21 different models. These vehicles spanned the 70,000 to 200,000 RMB price range. Entry-level options included the Seagull and Seal 05 DM-i. The second-generation Qin PLUS DM-i also offered this new technology. At that time, the Seagull was the most affordable equipped model. Today, BYD integrates this system into its Dynasty and Ocean network flagships. This impressive lineup includes the Qin, Song, Yuan, and Seal series. Drivers can also find it in the Dolphin, Han, Tang, and Xia. Furthermore, upcoming vehicles like the Sea Lion 05 EV will include it standard.
