On September 7, the XiaomiSkyNomad N90 officially launched with two available models: the XiaomiSkyNomad N90 Max, priced at 269,900 yuan, and the XiaomiSkyNomad N90 Max Exploration Edition, priced at 299,900 yuan. Measuring 5,285 mm in length, the vehicle supports 11 spatial configurations and offers a maximum cargo capacity of 1,831 liters. It utilizes an extended-range powertrain, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 464 km and a combined range of 1,705 km. The XiaomiSkyNomad N90 Max Exploration Edition features a factory-installed electric pop-up roof, catering to diverse needs such as camping.

Customers who place an order by midnight on October 7 can enjoy launch benefits worth up to 81,000 yuan, including front-row swivel seats, Nappa leather upholstery, Xiaomi HAD, dual zero-gravity seats in the second row, and discount vouchers for wheels and paint. Down payments start at 49,900 yuan, with options for a limited-time low-interest plan (1.99% annualized rate) or a “relaxed repayment” plan. Regarding the new vehicle, the XiaomiSkyNomad N90 Max features a brand-new design language. Its “Dragonfly” headlights combine a cross-shaped layout with “dragonfly-wing” style daytime running lights to enhance recognizability; the high beams offer a range of 624 meters, while the low beams provide 180-degree ultra-wide-angle coverage. The front bumper incorporates a large trapezoidal air intake and cooling structure with active shutter functionality, flanked by triangular air vents. The 1.5T range extender delivers a maximum power of 112 kW, while the front and rear electric motors produce maximum outputs of 210 kW and 100 kW, respectively. Equipped with a 76 kWh battery pack, the vehicle offers a pure electric range of 464 km (CLTC) and supports fast charging that adds 285 km of range in 15 minutes. It boasts a maximum combined range of 1,705 km (CLTC) and a fuel consumption of 6.26 L/100 km (WLTC) in depleted-battery mode.

The chassis features a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link independent suspension setup, equipped with 5-level adjustable air suspension and continuous damping control (CDC) shock absorbers; the vehicle has a minimum turning radius of 5.95 meters. Competitors:

The starting price of the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 is only 269,900 RMB, and even the top-trim model is under 300,000 RMB (priced at 299,900 RMB). This makes it hard to find direct competitors in its class. Basically, the only models with comparable product strength and pricing are the BYD Datang, Xpeng GX, and Ledao L90.

Among them, the BYD Datang and Xpeng GX lean more toward a balance of commercial and family use, offering more comprehensive configurations. The Datang is empowered by technologies such as the DiSus-A suspension, the “God’s Eye” 5.0 advanced driving assistance system, flash charging technology, and rear-wheel steering. Meanwhile, the Xpeng GX boasts 3,000 TOPS of computing power and a by-wire chassis. The Ledao L90 focuses primarily on family use; although its interior spatial flexibility is not as rich as that of the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90, it has the advantages of a 240L frunk (front trunk), the Shenji NX9031 chip, and a starting price of 179,800 RMB with the battery leasing option. Therefore, while the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 doesn’t have many direct competitors, every single one is highly formidable, meaning it will face even stricter scrutiny in the market.
